Dolphin Encounters offers programs that meet everyone's needs, even timid or non-swimmers can enjoy a program and make their dream of meeting a dolphin come true. We also work closely with special needs guests. With arrangements made at the time of reservation, we can accommodate any person with a physical and/or mental special need in a program that they will enjoy. We also have a waterproof wheelchair that allows guests to meet the dolphins face to face. The facility is wheel chair accessible and we also work closely with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Island Dolphin Encounters offers several of the most popular, safe, fun and educational marine mammal interactive programs for encountering sea lions and swimming with dolphins in the Bahamas.

Our all-natural habitat located on breathtaking Blue Lagoon Island provides our guests with the rare opportunity to meet and interact with local Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins in their native environment.

Your experience begins with a relaxing 20-minute scenic boat ride on one of our large, double-decker catamarans, with great views of Nassau Harbour, Paradise Island and Blue Lagoon Island. The cruise takes you past historic Nassau landmarks, the luxury homes of Paradise Island, multi-million dollar yachts, Island beaches and through clear aquamarine waters to our beautiful island, where you swim with dolphins. The entire visit to our facility offers you a truly authentic Bahamian experience.
