Location: The departure dock is located at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal on Marina Drive between the two bridges on Paradise Island. Be sure to arrive early as the program adheres to strict departure schedules; check-in should be completed 15 minutes prior to departure time.

What to Bring: Towel, change of clothes and funds to purchase optional personalized photos/videos and gift shop souvenirs. To protect the mammals, wearing jewelry is discouraged. Complimentary lockers are available.

Personalized Photo and Video Service: Our on-site photo/video lab sells personalized pictures of your interactions with the dolphins. They are available in a variety of styles and sizes, from a photo keychain and framed 8 x 10’s, to a complete personalized photo album. A video or DVD of your “Swim” or “Encounter” will include a pre-recorded tour of Paradise Island, Nassau and Blue Lagoon Island.

“SWIM” WITH THE DOLPHINS: After an educational orientation, enjoy a 30 minute (approx) interactive program by being completely immersed in the water with the dolphins wearing a life jacket (complimentary life jackets are provided). Program highlights include touch, kiss, feeding and the incredible foot push. Pregnant women are not permitted in this program. It is recommended that women wear a one piece swimsuit. The “Swim” is limited to 10 participants. Restrictions for “Swim” program: Guests age 5 or younger are not permitted in this program. Guests 6-12 must be accompanied by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). Guests 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult (observer ticket is accepted). Parent or Guardian is responsible for liability waiver.

“ENCOUNTER” WITH THE DOLPHINS: After an educational orientation, enjoy an interactive program standing on a platform which allows for a water depth of 3 feet. Heartwarming interactions include the kiss, hug, and dance, as well as the opportunity to touch and feed the dolphins. The “Encounter” is limited to 30 participants with a maximum of 10 in the water at one time. Restrictions for “Encounter” program: Guests age 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). Regular fee for guests aged 4 to 12 and must be accompanied by a participating paying adult.

“SEA LION ENCOUNTER”: After an educational orientation, enjoy a 20 minute (approx) interactive program standing on a platform, which allows a water depth of 3 feet immersed in our calm private island lagoon with ten or less guests in your program. Heartwarming interactions include the kiss, hug, feed and play with these affectionate and humorous marine mammals. Restrictions for “Sea Lion Encounter”: Pregnant women and guests age 7 or younger are not permitted in this program. Guests 8 years or 48 inches tall may participate in this program. Guests 8-12 must be accompanied by a responsible, paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age) with a ticket for the Sea Lion Encounter. Guests 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult (observer ticket accepted), parent or guardian is responsible for signing a liability waiver. Guests must have the ability to go up and down steps and ramp to access the platform. We are not able to accommodate handicapped persons in this program at this time. No photo or video cameras allowed.

“OBSERVER”: Observers may view program activities from the dock areas. However guests are not permitted access to the platform areas with “Encounter” or “Swim” guests - SORRY, no exceptions! No pre-payment is required, unless you wish to participate in one of our other programs. Observers may not interact with the animals nor are professional photo and video services available to Observers. Families with children age 5 or younger observing programs are required to have an adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age) as a paid Observer supervising the children on the dock.

Company/Refund Policies: Reservations cancelled 48 hours or less prior to program date are non-refundable. Parties of 10 or more participants are subject to group cancellation arrangements as contracted. No refunds will be issued for guests that are unable to meet program requirements due to age, physical fitness (only collapsible wheelchairs are permitted), maternity reasons or when company policy is violated.

Programs operate rain or shine! All bookings are non-refundable unless Dolphin Encounters Ltd., cancels the excursion due to unforeseen circumstances (or circumstances beyond control) in this case, Dolphin Encounter Ltd., will provide full refunds of payments made. Dolphin Encounters Ltd., reserves the right, to omit specific behaviors or interactions from the program and the right to refuse service to any guest under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.

Any and all disputes, liability claims, etc. are subject to Bahamian jurisdiction and the laws of the Bahamas.
