Dolphin Encounters Has Won The Prestigious Cacique Award

In 2005, Dolphin Encounters won the prestigious Cacique Award from the Bahamas' Ministry of Tourism which honours the finest in the tourism in our country. We are the only marine mammal facility in The Bahamas to have done so.

Group Outreach Programs

Looking for things to do in or near Nassau, Bahamas? Whether you live in the Bahamas or you're just visiting, these programs offered by Dolphin Encounters will help your kids learn more facts about the Bahamas, the ocean, environment and even Bahamas wildlife.

Beach Buddies

The Beach Buddies Program:
Kids take part in a 2-hour beach cleanup where they compete to win prizes.
This program emphasizes the importance of a clean environment.

Marine Assembly

The Marine Assembly Program:
This is a 30 minute assembly, offered by our talented marine educators.
This is sure to entice students to learn more about marine life and how to protect it.

Project Green

The Project Green Program:
Kids learn about conservation in this program.
Oil Drums are donated to the project and kids get the opportunity to paint them for distribution throughout the island.

Ocean Puppet Pals

The Program:
Kids get to watch our traveling puppet theater and learn about the sea and the Bahamas wildlife that lives in it.

Kids get to spend two hours on Blue Lagoon Island where they partake in diverse activities collected from marine scientists from all over the world.
